You can't compare the switchbucs price to a new Amazon price and say "why would I pay 30 switchbucs when it costs $18 on Amazon brand new". You get the same value for the discs you trade so it all evens out. You're trading switchbucs not dollars. Rumor has it they are doing away with the setting your own price thing that way switchbucs values are consistent across the network.
Switchbucs are just used to give value to the discs on the network. If you send out discs of high value you're going to get a lot of switchbucs. You can then use those switchbucs to get discs of the same or lesser value.
Does that make sense? |
