As a long time user of PF, I have been using both PF and SD for the past month. And while they both have clear advantages and disadvantages. I find that using them both maximizes my ability to receive interesting DVDs I might not find otherwise. From my point of veiw there is no down side to using both services. They seem to compliment each other.
From my perspective, while there is great demand for the discs I have on PF, I have trouble getting discs to come in. The problem on SD is the reverse I have trouble finding someone to take what I have to offer. But when I do send something off there is no problem knowing exactly what is out there. You know exactly when or if somebody is going to send something on. Throw in the fact that the discs are packaged better and they often come with art work and you have a winning formula.
My suggestion is to give SD a try without abandoning PF. I see it as a benefit to PF as those discs I get from SD will then be offered on PF as well.
