I'm not surprised that it didn't do that well. Some parts of the trailer looked funny, but "Steve Carrell is Noah" just can't compare to the initial reaction of hearing "Jim Carrey is God". This seems like it'd be a decent dvd rental though, the kind of movie you only need to see once.
I think the trailer for Carrell's movie next summer, "Get Smart", looks great though. |
