The comedy is getting a little over used after the 3rd one.
Now that Austin and Dr Evil are brothers... I wonder how are they going to expand the story...

Groovy baby, yeah

I wonder what else can Mylers come up with for a 4th installment.
there is almost nothing left to expand with.

I heard an interview with him saying there will be no 4th one, mostly because to him it was a personal project and he's taken it as far as he wants to. It was done for the memory of this father I think... or something to that effect.

Austin Powers will surely become one of the great cultish type comedies of all time. Obviously, this is not "Citizen Kane", but it fits in the catagory that holds other classics of my generation like Fletch, Spinal Tap, and Monty Python's Holy Grail. There seems to be some sort of gender issue with this movie in that I have yet to meet a woman that likes this movie, but every guy I know loves it. I guess it's a "guy movie". I recommend that you see it again...it gets better every time.

And of course all those MCP remarks.
Anyway if any of you guys are looking for another "James Bond" type comedy convert, there is also Jonny English starring Rown Akinson ( aka Mr Bean )

These are the funniest movies of all time. Anyone who has seen the original James Bond flicks with Sean Connery will catch every little spoof. Mike Myers timing is ingenious. I literally stopped laughing for a combined 10 minutes in an hour and a half movie (the 1st). If you see this and don't like it your a square.
