Santa put 2 dvd's in my christmas sock last sunday morning, The Nightmare Before Christmas (Tim burton) which i had already seen a few years ago and that i realy had enjoyed and Baby sittor with Vin diesel.
Has anyone seen it, and what did you think of it? I'll be watching it sunday afternoon most probably and realy enjoyed the trailer i saw a few weeks ago.. any impressions?

I liked Baby sittor, many folks around me said that Vin shouldn't of done it as it breaks his action film reputation, but I found this comedy very refreshing and it hasn't changed my way of seing Vin at all.Many other action-men (..)before him have done it , Schwarzi for example and it didn't break their image!

well i am a Vin diesel fan so maybe it influenced my judgement, but wow what a laugh I had, at first it was a bit odd to see him in such a role (comedy) but i think he realy got out of it with the honors...a great family movie to watch!

Many action actors have tried this and because we have already themed them as the serious action hero, a comedy sometimes helps their image instead of wracking it.

My conclusion was finaly that:
Tops
*Vin is great and does his role transition perfectly, i was a bit affraid of that in the beggining
*Nice cast, loved the little girl scoot kicking the s*** out of the guys
*gave me a laugh in average every 5 mins so that's good

Cons
*Not enough Vin action
*they didn't use the baby enough to my taste
*the final scene was a bit disapointing, when the ex-army currant teacher gets the nasty guy

I think they did leave the door open for a 2 no? who knows...

This movie sounds a lot like The Pacifier. I've never heard of this, it doesn't sound like something Vin Diesel would do, but hey, anything for money.

It wasn't the best film i ever saw with Vin diesel for sure but i still enjoyed viewing it; couldn't sit through it 3 times in a row of course like I can with some great films, but i sure don't regret viewing it!
