Dreamcatcher was one of my favorite movies. The book was a hell of a lot better though, I listened to it on CD, and it captured my attention by Chapter 2. I might read it now, but odds are I never will. Has anyone else seen it? The ending was completely different then the book, by the way. | ||

| I know, the ending was quite a disappointment in the movie. In case your curious, here's the ending in the book, but there I have to mention some big changes before for the book ending to make sense. In the book, Henry and Owen lock minds and convince all the prisoners to revolt. All the prisoners attack the guards, and in the mayhem, Owen and Henry escape. Kurtz and all these other soldiers start shooting at them, but all the bullets miss. Then, Kurtz, Freddy, and this other guy get in a car and start chasing them. At the water place, Henry and Dudditz stay in the car, and Owen shoots the worm thingy. Then, Kurtz shoots Owen, then Freddy kills Kurtz, and then Freddy kills Underhill. Meanwhile, Dudditz links the minds of Henry and Jonesy, and Henry kills Mr. Gray from inside Jonesy's head. There's some other stuff that happens, but it's not important. Sure beats the movie's ending. | ||

| Lol how could you enjoy that? It was so stupid! Plus it suggested that Dudditz was actually an alien and that he changed into his true form or something, at least that's what my friend thought until I explained it to him. Or maybe in the movie he really was supposed to be an alien, I don't know, I was just going by the book. | ||
