healthy movie food

I know most people probably like indulging in the food available at movie theatres, but with people becoming more health conscious I'm surprised that it's still only "junk food" on sale. I have food allergies, so I can't eat most of what's available in the way of fast food. On the other hand, I'm not allowed bringing my own food in. Do you think the growing preccupation with eating healthy will hit the theatres soon? It's ironic that Supersize Me played in movie theatres where graesy popcorn is served.

We rarely buy food at the theater. I usually sneak a few snacks in my purse. I also bring a water bottle.

Popcorn, popcorn, popcorn. I make it at home too but theatre popcorn is still the best and I don't care what is in it! LOL.

I would have to agree theatre popcorn is the best. At the prices of the food I can only imagine what they would charge if they started serving more healthy food. I to usually sneak in my food. I cannot afford with two kids to spend that amount of money for snacks.

Movies were made for popcorn. The more fake-butter the better. Anything that comes in a noisy wrapper or can be rattled in a box should be banned.

My husband absolutely considers it a sin if he doesn't buy the huge honking popcorn and oversize soda when going to the movies. Myself, I never buy any of it. I sneak in my own water and sip that during the movie.

We usually buy popcorn and pop and smuggle in other goodies. There's no reason you can't smuggle in healthy snacks if that's what you want to have. It's not like they're going to subject you to a strip search.

LOL ...quite true. What I hate are the people who smuggle in raw carrots and celery and make noise with them, and then act so damned pious about it.

LOL!!!
I eat super healthy, but not when we go to the movies! When I go with my little ones they know they get to eat candy. They can eat the carrots at home.

I could see me bringing out the carrots to give to the boys when at the theatre. The look I would get would be priceless.
