The Longest Yard, the longest boring time

The movie is about a football game between the prison guards and the convicts, how they prepared for the game and the game itself. It was a set-up by the warden of the prison in the first place. It's a 1974 comedy remake..i know that it's suppose to be funny...but i couldn't laugh..is it because the jokes were too ancient?

Guess its another one of those fail remakes.
I gave this a drop after the trailers so I don't know much.

Maybe like you said the jokes are just too old for our time.
But still remmeber Sky Captain and the Lan of Tomorrow? Everything was adapted from the good old times and people loved it!

I saw his one and found it just plain boring, I don't think I will ever give it a second view, actually when i did see it it was an accident to start off with as I was expecting something completely different

It ain't that horrible! the scenes where they were training and when they were out on the field was great!! but of course other than that, there was a lot of downtime.

Remakes of a movie are always worst then the original. It's just a law of nature, like gravity. Ha ha ha!
