mistakes/goofs

I've only really noticed one and that was in coach carter and the reference to lebron james. The film is set in 1999 and ty crane is asked what it felt like to be the next lebron james but james wasn't even in high school in 1999. I checked imdb and apparently I wasn't the first person to notice that

I was thinking it would be good to see what movie mistakes/goofs you've noticed?

You could go to IMDB and find one and post it but that would just be cheating

I know that in "Days of Thunder", Michael Rooker's wife calls Tom Cruise "Tom", instead of his character's name, Cole.

The Incredibles

I noticed in the animated film, The Incredibles, where the wife is telling the husband good-bye as he leaves for work, she's dressed in one scene and in her bathrobe the next.

There's a couple that I notice because I have a weird sense of what happened in what year. Back to the Future is a good one for this- a lot of the cars in the background are the wrong years. One that really bugged me was in The Wedding Singer (set in 1985) one of the guitarists is playing a 1990 Gibson Les Paul. Duh!

Check out the internet movie data base (www.imdb.com) and look at the trivia/mistakes section on your favorite films. It's hysterical!

My favorite 'catch' was in Zefferelli's Romeo and Juliet. Right in the middle of a huge crowd scene, you could spot people wearing sneakers and wearing watches. The assistant director really sucked at his job.

lol I didn't notice that when I analysed the film in school, we had to compare it to Baz Luhrman's version, I love the opening to the modern day version.
