Intermedia will open formal negotiations soon that will ensure Mostow's return for the fourth film in the series. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a question mark. He's still, of course, the governor of California, but he may return for a small role, with a new actor taking over the lead role. Claire Danes and Nick Stahl are not confirmed yet.
Thoughts?

Well I think a 4th movie was pretty obvious after the way the 3rd movie ended. Not sure what I think of the idea of a 4th. Loved all of the first 3 though, despite the 3rd being very different.

I think Terminator 4 would be a good idea, if and only if, they do it right and continue the John Connor storyline close to the point where the 3rd left off.

I think Terminator without Arnold as the main actor is not fun... He has been the foundation of this series of movies and he's so good acting as a robot...
Even if Arnie will be featured in IV for a small role, I think it is where the T800 robot will be finished off...

Would anyone agree that they should bring back the guy who played the baddie in T2 (who's name escapes me at the moment.) He was perfectly cast for that role.

The baddie is Robert Patrick... Man, this guy can really keep his cool
Notice how he ran so hard chasing Arnie and yet did not break a sweat nor pant??
I think he is a perfect robot...

Why not bring back Edward Furlong for the role of John?

Most of their contracts have been terminated from what I've heard, I'm not sure who's contract was Terminated but I know Arnie's have. So there's no point a 4th since I thought the 3rd was a bit dissappointing. Still had some good scenes tho
