Any comments about Brokeback Mountain ?

Since i watched the golden globe awards i realy would like to check this film out, it's realy rare to mention homosexuality when it comes to the Cowboy world, most of the time they are more associated to machism!
Has anybody seen this yet, is it realy worse the dough?

I'm not going to see that movie. It's not that I don't appreciate good, dramatic movies (actually I don't appreciate them, but that's not the point), it's just, I don't like watching movies about gay people. I'm not homophobic, in fact I strongly support gay marriage, it's just that... you know... male intimacy.

My best mate's the same, when i asked him if he'd come and see it with me he freaked out and was even scared to imagine what people would say to themselves seing us going to view it together!LOL Everyday we see films with women lovers etc and the girls i know still go to view them, this realy is a typical male reaction i think!!

I have yet to watch the movie. It should be interesting to affirm myself if indeed it deserves such recognition. Based on your feedback it seems it is all about hard realities at present which we refuse to accept.

I think personally that the movie portrays more about love regardless of gender. I don't think though that this movie will win the heart of conservative and even regular viewers because of sex scenes involving two males.

We are embracing reality. Having gay relationship is no longer considered taboo. This kind of movie makes closet queens to go out of the open.

I enjoyed it, It's worth seeing at least once. Although I never seem to watch these types of movies, the acting was great and so was the story.
