Anyone going to see it?

Can't say I plan to see it, but I know there was a bit of grief about the Net that Constantine was Scouse in the comic book and now is... well, Keanu Reeves...

Great song on the soundtrack though - "Passive" by A Perfect Circle

I'm just sick of constant Comic Book to film adaptations. All films these days are either based on comic books, remakes or sequels.

I agree.
Hollywood are getting too repetitive and are in a creativity slump.

What comic book is Constantine from?

This movie looks really generic, but I will probably still see it. WHo knows, maybe it will be the next Matrix.

That's kinda what I thought.
I don't know if Keanu's career will go anywhere after the Matrix movies. As everyone will know him as 'That Guy From The Matrix'.

If he sticks with films like the Matrix, he could still stay popular, and earn cash.

Keanu is just such a stilted actor in everything I've seen him in... To quote what a fella said to me the other night: "Keanu Reeves is so wooden that if you put him into a forest you wouldn't be able to see him..."

This film's basically one of the adaptations of the film rights for comic books that the studios bought up when X-Men came out, with the inital intention of getting it so no-one else can...

What comic book is it based off of?

The only movies that I remember him in are the Matrix movies.
If you asked me to tell you 5 movies he was in I'd fail.
