A Movie is a medium for a director to channel his imagination. Only a fraction of the imagination is based on reality. At the end of the day he has to make the story seem interesting to his audiance. Facts Therefore take a backseat. You cant even trust the newspapers a 100% these days, movies are out of the question.

Well, I know that ...but it bothers me how many lazy kids are out that that think a movie suffices for actually reading anything lol.

I have issues with movies being made about events like this that are only loosely based on reality. My family has been portrayed incorrectly and I know how rotten it is to go through it.

It cold be worse, at least no one has made an animated version of 9-11.

Yet.

I never consider wide release films to be an accurate portrayal of history, there's too much for the filmmakers to lose if they don't add some drama. A documentary I would expect to be more accurate.

I'm sorry about the misportrayal of your family, Accer. And it wouldn't surprise me if there weren't an animated version in the works. Nope, it wouldn't surprise me at all.
