If you had the money, what books or stories would you bring or remake back to the movies?

Books and stories that may touch the spiritual consciousness of individuals. There are just too many violent movies being produced undoubtedly influencing the behavior and attitude of young and old.

That's an interesting question, it's hard to find something who hasen't been released yet these days.
Maybe a film on the coran as they have by many times put the bible on screen. I think it could help many understand and see the differences and the many things in common both books have. It could be a bit risky that is.

I would endorse stories about peace and reconciliation or stories about environment preservation. Enough for glorifying villains.

I maybe would go for making the film of Grand theft auto, i'm sure something awsome could be done with that project if it ended up in the right hands

if i had Spielberg or Lucas bank account I'd do a great remake of the infernal tower or would create some new catastroph movie, with the bird flu taking over the world or people trying to escape a bactarial attack... something which can happen let's say
