Inland Empire

I saw this two nights ago with a friend of mine at the Royal.
Has anyone else caught in its limited release?

It's a 3 hour David Lynch film, about, well i'm still trying to piece that all together. Without ruining anything it's about an actress getting a role in a remake of an unfinished film. To say much more would be to give things away.

Laura Dern and Justin Leroux are both excellent in their respective roles.

If you're a Lynch fan, check this out if it plays anywhere nears you, but go to the bathroom first, it is not for the weak.

hummm

I'v heard many conflicting things about IE and I've actually been looking for a copy but haven't had any luck...

When the film was being produced we had a local radio joke going on that IE was a movie about the ugly side of SoCal. I'm located smack-dab in the IE and I remember hearing how our area was portrayed in the movie as being the "armpit" of Hollywood.

From what I heard it's actually a movie about the turmoil of stardom...

I've never heard of this one. And as a David Lynch fan, I should be ashamed of myself.

I haven't heard of this either. Is it going to be release everywhere? Or is it just in limited cities? It sounds like an interesting movie.
