This is really funny! Never knew that Jennifer Lopez could pull it off so well! The mother-in law is really possessive and would do the extremes to get her son back to her side only! Pretending to have mental problems.....hope this doesn't happen in real life

Not everything that happens in the movies will happen in real life, but I do think that Mothers would get rather jealous when their only son gets "taken" by another woman.

I would think they do. Because they have to start accepting a stranger into the house.
Thats the reason why many couples don't live with their parents.

I think Jenny should just stick doing....well whatever she knows what to do!
She seems to specialize in making movies where she, as a poor girl, marries a rich guy. I guess there is a market for this kind of movie but the class and cultural differences shown in the movie were so obvious even suspended logic cannot make this movie enjoyable. This movie was not a "Pretty Woman."

I didn't think it was that good. The only person I liked was Wanda Sykes. It seemed to short, like it only got interesting at the very end. I laughed a little but I would never watch this movie again.

A comeback movie for Jane Fonda after fifteen years!! And what a role she would have to perform engaging in cat fights with the sexy JLo. It's quite a funny movie.

I'll be renting this tomorrow as the missus wants to see it (yes i'm sure yet another excuse to be able to wack my mum undirectly, that is I do understand her as my mum is a drag and a typical 'mother in law'. Will get back to you next week to give you my impressions!

I will be checking out this film next this weekend, it's not realy for Jennifer Lopez as i'mquite fixed on her acting talents (humhum), that is I may be in for a surprise who knows. But i've always loved film with jane Fonda and she is a lady i admire a lot...let's hope she'll beat the crap out of jenny!
