Red face So what do you think about....

Closer.. ok has anyone actually seen this film me and my flat mate louise are going to see it on wednesday after buying more gym clothes, joining the gym then possibly going to the gym.
The ultimate chick flick or a complete fake, but seen as im guessing you're all men with the exception of Christopher Rowell that you'll all say its pants (or in Faulky's words the worst film ever)

That Christopher Rowell sounds like a fine young gentleman.

I read that it's darker then most chick flicks, the preview made it look deserving of the title 'Love Actually 2'.

well, closer seems to have the makings of a modern day classic. i mean what more can u ask for? about 100 minutes of jude law-occasionally in the nip seems like the makings of a good film. and then u go to see it.... the plot is slow and, after half an hour i was threatenin to leave but somehow jude kept me there! anyway the story is repetative and the acting, well i saw better in my school pantomime! in a never ending circle of incest and adultry without a punchline the story seems to last for hours! however the club scenes are probably the highlight for the boys and suprisingly natalie portman suits a pink wig! definitly not love actually 2 and i don't really see how it got good reviews from the critics but if u want to see jude law or natalie portman in slightly underdressed then this is the film for you!

and btw thanx alot p for that little dig at my opinion bein invalid!!!!!

hmm well ok fair enough thanks for that great account of the film, so it sounds like a worthy chick flick as well, seriously which chick flicks have plots can't actually think of a one that goes beyond boy meets girl, they fall in love, fall out of love and then oh yes fall back in love again and ride off into the sunset happily ever after! Hey though Jude Law naked (jaw drops) ok only slightly naked still sounds good enough to me (as she goes over and kisses the poster of Jude Law on her wall)

don't get me wrong am most definitly 1 for chick flicks but it is no pretty woman. i don't know what it is but he is not as attractive in this one as in alfie. sayin that jude law could never be unatractive! i think i had built up too much hope of it bein amazing and then when it wasn't, well i was gutted! i'm not generally as pesemistic as this but i feel jude has let me down.

Pretty woman's storyline is so romantic. Man finds prostitute, man pays prostitute $3000 for a load of sex, man loves prostitute.....the end.
