Well, we went and saw this one opening weekend. We went to the early showing. Thank gawd we did too, b/c when we came out at 7:30 there were lines out the door.

I guess I should tell a little about the movie.
The pros: Lots and lots of action! Great special effects! Nice storyline.
The cons: Too many villians. Too much going on. Too much backstory on minor characters. And what was up with the John Travolta swaggering mucho, macho Peter Parker? I know it was part of the storyline and it was hysterical, but Peter Parker, a ladykiller...not (and it showed it the reactions of the other females).

Overall though, it is worth shelling out the big bucks to watch it on the big screen.

Is this a movie that would be ok for a 7 year old? He has watched all of the Star Wars movies. The previews look good.

I have a seven year old that also wants to see this movie. But I haven't quite decided if I should let him see it. I have been waiting to see what others thought about it before I make up my mine. I to would like to know if you think it is an appropriate movie for a seven year old? Thanks.
