Hands down, in my opinion, is Robin Williams. The man has been making me laugh since the first episode of Happy Days introducing Mork. After him, I'd have to say Billy Crystal.

I really can't think of any truly good current actresses in a comedy that I like. Sandra Bullock can pull off some comedy, but I'm not sure I'd put her in the comedy category.

I've been thinking about this lack of comedy actresses, and decided that Anne Hathaway (Ella Enchanted, The Devil Wears Prada, and Princess Diaries). I thought those were all funny movies, and she did very well in them.

Have to agree on Robin Williams.
I also think Jack Black can be pretty funny, loved him in Nacho Libre.

I also like Ellen. I loved when she had her sitcom and was bummed when it was cancelled. Hitch wouldn't have been quite as good if Kevin James wasn't in it. His down to earth kind of everyman comedy was the perfect foil to Smith's character. And yes, that dancing scene in the bonus features was wonderful.... 'Slooow Thriller' and 'Q-Tip'. Reminded me of so many men I've danced with on club night.
