I would say Julie Andrews. She might be STAR from years gone by, but she's an incredibly talented lady. Singing, acting, dancing. I think she's even done some directing. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

She was good in her day. My problem with her is that I saw her on Broadway a few years ago and she had a problem with incontinence. Not a pretty sight. Time to retire.

I'm not really a fan of any of the actress/singers. I think it's more of an ego trip for most of them, and some of them are equally bad at both (Jessica Simpson).

But then again I'll watch any Elvis movie or listen to any song, so what do I know?

I should say that my above view doesn't include any Broadway actresses, because singing and acting are all equal parts of their careers really. Not that I like Broadway stuff, but they're kind of made to be dual performers.

I've never seen an actual Broadway show, so I only have my college theater to use as a basis. I've known of some actresses, like Stockard Channing, that started out on Broadway and used it to get into movies. I guess it can work the other way around.
