I could never remember who is who..

When ever my friend talk about movies and those actresses that they have a fancy on... am always left in the dark until someone says something like "You know the one that is the lead in the movie"...

All I know are the more popular ones... How do you actually remember all those names when many actually forget names of their close friends after a few years...

Simple. Keep the names fresh in your head... It's the same as anything else, the more you do it, the more you know about it, and the more you watch and talk about movies, the more likely you are to know who's who.

I remember the days when I didn't even know who Robert DeNiro was... But I knew Keanu Reeves was Ted "Theodore" Logan... It's just a matter of what you watch, and how often you watch it...

I'm actually a bit lost when it comes to all the recent actors and actresses, all the new wave.
I think i get to remembering one once he or she playes one of those unforgetable roles. If not i just don't know and don't keep up with all the teen stuff

Who do you mean? (In terms of which films have they been in, I assume as you're saying you're a bit lost with who's who, you're not sure, hence saying you're not sure... (While this bracketed section is easily many times larger than the initial section, I felt it was necessary to quantify the original 4 word question...))

Too many new actors these days ,i just don't follow, I doubt half of them will still be around in 10 years time,on your right you have a bunch of blond birds who all look the same, too skinny with the same hair cut and on your left aload of young guys who all have the sma muscled body and you are more likely to hear of them for sleeping here and there for their actual acting skills.

Well, that could be said of any era, it's just the way it works, a fair helping of averagely talented actors, and a few really good ones. Of course over the course of time the mediocrity is forgotten about, and you're left with what people look back to as "golden ages" of cinema...

Top and bottom of it is that there are a few actors and actresses with the potential to be great for years to come, but there's a lot of people who'll just make their fortunes, then slowly fade away into obscurity...

Oh yes the more famous ones I do remember, like cruise or maybe people like ... ermm... like... damn... I can't remember anyone else...

I agree that nowadays there are no one that stays in the sector long enough to print a name to that face.
