I used to love watching Jim Carrey's movies as it never failed to tickle me... However, his antics are now all the same and it's getting boring... I didn't even bother to watch his later movies such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Bruce Almighty.. You think I should go get a DVD on this? | ||

 | Bruce Almighty was a decent film, not the same madcap comedy style of his earlier films, but quirky enough to still be Carrey. As for Eternal Sunshine, haven't seen it myself and have heard very mixed reviews from both extremes, so I'll leave that one for you to call...

| Eternal Sunishine was pretty damn bad. Kate Winslet looked ugly, how'd they manage that? It's a fucked up film for pretentious dickheads.

| No, no I don't. I watched it at hitman's house and it was totally fucked up. Not like his usual films at all though.

I generally don't like his movies, I find his style to be over the top, although he has certainly calmed down recently... at least he plays serious roles now too as opposed to just a "joker". | |||

 | I have to say his act has worn very thin with me... when I first saw the mask I was impressed and even felt a little refreshed as he was new and fun to watch but now its the same in every film he stars in. Im interested to see if he could pull off a straight role... Having said all of this, I watched dumb and dumberer and the actor who played his younger character annoyed the hell out of me, it was like he was trying too hard to be jim carey.. | ||
