most versatile actor

Who do you think has the broadest range of ability? Considering that she played roles from Out of Africa and Sophie's Choice to The Devil Wears Prada, I'd say Meryl Streep. She even does a range of accents.

I have to go with Johnny Dep as one of the most versatile actors and with Charlize Theron as most versatile actress. The competition is really buildiing with a great batch for full range younger actors.

I'm going to cast my vote for Robert Duvall as most versatile actor and Nicole Kidman as most versatile actress.

I'm going to go with Jamie Foxx simply because he can go from goofy to dramatic. I never thought he'd be anything more than a comedic actor, but he was amazing in "Ray".

For actress, I'll say Cate Blanchett. She seems to make about twenty movies a year.

Have to agree with Johnny Depp. He is awesome in every movie I have seen of his.
I also think Tom Hanks is a versatile actor.

Christopher Walken. Not only will he be on the 2008 ticket, but he's almost too versatile for his own good.

Really? For me, Walken is always something of an eerie person and mean looking. I can't imagine him as sweet, romantic or even that comedic.

I would have to agree with Meryl Streep. I loved her in Devil Wears Prada. I loved that movie.

He was always great on Saturday Night Live though. And that music video he was in, "Weapon of Choice".
