I find Alan Rickman villanous in a stealthy, creepy, hypnotic way. Have you seen him in Harry Potter No wonder he was cast as Mesmer in another film.

Danny Trejo makes an excellent villain and it's hard to picture him as a good guy. Peter Stormare is also good in the bad guy role.

Interestingly enough, some of our favorite actors can be excellent villians too.

Michael Douglas is one and there are others who can do either. I think it's a testament to their abilities that they can convince us of either role.

Great list! I have to agree with all of these. Remember Nicholson as the joker? He was great!!

Definitely John Malkovich, he was awesome as the bad king in Eragon.
Willem Dafoe was at his best being Green Goblin in Spidey.

I liked Hopkins as a good guy better than bad. He was excellent as the tough/sensitive dad in Meet Joe Black. He was also really great as Antonio Banderas' mentor in Zorro.

O.K. probably nobody's going to agree with me on this one, but how about Dicaprio in The Man in the Iron Mask? As the evil twin. I thought his selfish, uncaring attitude really fit him well in that part. And who was the evil king in the Robin Hood movie with Kevin Costner from a few years back? He was cast perfectly!

That was Alan Rickman, from "Die Hard".
