| Movie Critic | Got a £25($50) Alba player a couple of months back when my PS2 started to be overly tempremental over playing DVDs, even brand new ones... And like your own, this can play anything, even Region 1, which made importing Clerks (which I recently found out is going to be released here anyway) a lot less painful...

| Movie Critic | Wow, that's a beast... And the type of thing I intend to buy when I'm no longer a debt-ridden student... In the time being this'll have to do though:

| Movie Goer | I have a Samsung DVD/VHS combo, with the ability to copy films from DVD to VHS, which has made my life so much easier as I can now rent DVDs for one night and keep the films forever . Seriously is there any way that a function like that can be used legally?

| Movie Critic | Unless you're making your own films, generally no I'd think with it being someone else's intellectual property... Not that I'd complain...

| hey I don't know crap about DVD players, but I know PS2 dvd players are very tempermental, and always read "Unable to Read Disc"... Oh and never buy an APEX, you're really just wasting your time and money. I had one, it lasted a month...I had a friend who bought one, it lasted a week. And Walmart wouldn't give a refund either!!!!! | ||

| Movie Goer | I have about 7 dvd players... However the one I use most is my Apex. Why? Because I find them to be very long-lasting and they play just about whatever you'd like to put in them. Never had a problem with mine. They may not be the prettiest, but I consider them to be one of the best. | ||

| Movie Critic | To be honest, as long as it plays the disc I put in it, I'd use any DVD player, they all do pretty much the same thing. It's in your audio-visual setup that you really notice the difference...
