With DVD, I'll take some chances on movies since I can always just turn it off if I don't like it.
I personally don't know how many movies that I bought and turned off after about 30 minutes.
There was one with Tom Hanks... Lady Killers if I was not wrong, sucked big time... Never knew what they were trying to do or say...

I think the only movie that I actually ever just turned off was "Striptease". I can usually make it through any movie, I even saw "Batman & Robin"....once. I can tell by the trailer if I'll like a movie or not usually, and I mainly stick to mainstream movies, not indie stuff.

And yeah, "Lady Killers" was one I never tried to watch. I like Hanks, but not any of the Wayans brothers. Or the Coen brothers who directed it.

I love movies but don't often go to see them;it's so easy to pop in the video store and buy or rent one , you will even be able to watch more than once and with whoever you want to!
