What do you use to watch VCD/DVDs?

I have a 42inch plasma screen but then I usually use my 17inch CRT monitor on my PC but the TV always get hogged by the other family members :P

What do you have?

We have a regular Magnavox you can buy at Best Buy (less than a year old) at home. I've got a PC hooked up to it via S-Video so that we can play not only DVD's but video games, and power points on the TV. Works out pretty well.

So you have a pC dedicated to the screen or do you have to move it now and then when you need to see a show or play a game?

No, it'd dedicated to the TV. It is the livingroom PC, it doesn't go anywhere else

Keep in mind that most conventional TVs don't run at the high resolutions computers and monitors run at. Our TV PC runs at 800x600, and most TVs run I BELIEVE 640x480. Drivers can also effect the appearance too. Hope that helps!
