Around the world in 80 days

I've just completed watching the movie. It was quite entertaining and suitable for family-watching...
Lacking in the movie is the "cultural differences". Every one in every continent speaks English.. Isn't that ironic??
I must mention this... Arnold looks ridiculous in his part as a Turkey prince...

Oh ya.. I would like to add that this movie lacks the actions we normally see on Jackie Chan's other movies like police story or the accidental spy and the likes. Overall rating 5/10...")

You're right, that's the stupid thing.
The movie is OK, there are some passages which were supposed to be funny...
The story really is predictable
I'd also give it a 5 or perhaps 6 out of 10

I liked the film, it's one of those who are easy to follow, but actual that isn't realy hard as I love all Jackie Chan's films, he always gets me crying in laughter!

Every country he visited we got to see a few familiar faces of the actors from that country
That was the interesting part.

I preferred Shanghai Knights and Shanghai Noon.
Who were the 2 Beautiful Oriential Actresses? Fann Wong and Zhang Ziyi? or was it Michelle Yeo?

That often makes me laugh in many movies, wherever you go the people speak english as if...
And what i find even bigger is in shows like star trek; wherever you go in the galaxy, univers and beyond....they speak english on every planet! How fantastic!!!!

Yes thats is odd. Kind to think of it, its like they are making English a Universal language.
And in Star Trek's case, its really universal!

I think that is a typical american thing, everybody just has to talk yank english, i'd laugh if we did discover a planet and there to everyone's surprise the alien came up and said 'g'day mate how'd you do?'
