I saw Spiderman 3 and I loved it. I thought it was a great way to spend the evening. I'm not a comic book fan....but the movie was great to me!

I understand some people not understanding the comic story undercurrent thought there was no plot. Let's face it. You don't go to a movie like Spidey3 and expect Casablanca.

I liked it, I just thought it they tried to fit too much in. Having the symbiote just fall out of the sky was weak. They could easily have just said it was something that John Jameson brought back from the moon, seeing as how they went to the trouble to introduce him in the last movie. And Peter's turn to the dark side could have been a bit more gradual, and deeper too. I didn't mind the scene of him walking down the street and making a fool of himself, it was a good flip-side to the "Raindrops keep falling on my head" scene in part 2. But that dance scene at the jazz club was just too ridiculous. I'm really hoping that the dvd has a ton of deleted scenes.
