Just saw Transformers (major spoilers in here)

The age old question of if a Transformer can piss, has been answered.

They do, and all over John Turturro.

Otherwise, the movie was pretty fun. It's a bit slow, and convoluted at first. However, once everyone makes it to Earth and the action begins its pretty decent.

Oh, and the effects are pretty fuckin amazing. The final show down is definitely worth your 10 bucks.

Anyone else see it tonight?

Best movie of the summer. It lived up to every trailer. They didn't go in depth on any of the human characters, they simply served their purpose as soldiers or high schoolers. But it moved fast, had great action and some of the best cgi effects ever. The only thing I would have changed would be to cut out everything having to do with the computer hackers, it was just a waste of time. To anyone that hasn't seen it yet, if you see the blonde girl or Anthony Anderson on screen, use that time to run to the bathroom.

I hope all those whiny fanboys that pitched a fit because Prime had flames or Ironhide wasn't a red minivan or Bumble Bee wasn't a Volkswagon will shut the hell up now. I even liked the dig they took with that Beetle on the car lot.

i still think the opening ran a tad bit long in terms of bringing the autobots to Earth. once they showed up the film was gold.

It was sort of the calm before the storm though. They used that time to set up Sam's character. Plus, having the Decepticons reveal themselves first gave the Autobots a reason to have to hide from public view.

I'll probably watch it again this weekend and I'll see if my opinion changes any.

Finally saw this. What a fun film! I don't really like Michael Bay but he did a good job on this one. I'm really pleased with the way he brought the Transformers to the big screen. I really hope they make at least two more of these. The movie was just cool as hell.

the final show did not have enough robots fighting each other AND you could barely keep up with the battle. could have been done MUCH better

Finally saw it. Decent flick. Good action. A few groan lines. Moving the military battle to the city resulting in a bunch of civilian deaths seems like a pretty bad idea. End was predictable, but over all the special effects made up for it.

Transformers?!

I was so dissapointed with this movie. "bumblebee" isn't even a real character, his name was originally Hotshot! I guess the graphics were ok but I think they could have done better.
