Review of Blu-Ray version of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

For all of you that watch Blu-ray movies here is my take on the new release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" I avoided buying Blu-ray before because they were so expensive but now the price is really comparable to regular DVDS. On Amazon this movie is only $15.49.

The latest in the Harry Potter series is geared towards an older crowd than the earlier ones. I personally found the Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince to be more mature than the earlier films. It is an unexpected character study, a mystery and a tragic/shocking tale. It is definitely the darkest of all the films.

In many ways I found it really surprising that the these kid actors have grown into their skins and are able to carry the more complex themes of this latest film.

Blu-Ray Review of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The Blu-ray disc of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will feature Warner Bros. Maximum Movie Mode. MMM allows you to examine the entire film with Focus Points, Picture-in-Picture, photo galleries and other interactive things. It also includes commentary from director David Yates, producers David Heyman and David Barron, and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Tom Felton.

BD-Live
The disc also includes Warner Bros.
