Stephen Chow's Kung Fu Hustle

I managed to get hold of Kung Fu Hustle today and couldn't wait to pop it into my player... Just finished the movie and would like to write my maiden movie review...

Do not watch this movie if you are:
1. looking for a good story line
2. looking for pretty actor/actresses
3. into good acting skills

Do watch this movie if you:
1. have nothing to do & need to kill time
2. interested into special effects
3. want to occasional laugh
4. are as crazy as me...

Overall, the plot was very lame and the entire movie was based on special effect albeit poorly done... My rating = 4/10

i disagree with you... i find that this film is one of the best productions so far in the business... i agree with you that the storyline is not fantastic but the settings, and the way the director film each particular character was really good... and who says that there wasn't any pretty girls in the show?! the girl that was mute is pretty i would say... anybody agrees?

You must have never really watched Stephen Chow's films before.
They are all "senseless"... let me rephrase that "senselessly funny!"
You have to appreciate his brand of humour to get his jokes.

I would have given it at least a 8 of 10.
Rate movies in their specific genre and not with a general template.

Lets see... its like rating Austin Powers
