I took the kiddos to see this one a week or so ago and was very impressed with the movie. I wasn't sure what to expect as I knew it was based on a book that we all loved, A Day With Wilbur Robinson (written by the same man who wrote the Rolie Polie Olie books). It was very good and the animation was very true to the book's pictures. My 4 year was able to follow the rather complicated storyline pretty easily too. They even had one of the old Mickey Mouse cartoons in the beginning like they used to when we were kids! | ||

| Sounds like you all enjoyed it! I hadn't heard much about it, but what I had heard was more negative. I have a friend who adopted two children through the foster care system. She told me that she was unaware of how much of the story has to do with adoption. Both of her children were disturbed by the movie's portrayal of this little boy being turned down by family after family. She felt the movie was very insensitive regarding adoption issues. So, sounds like this movie is good for some, but not good for others! | ||

| I took the boys to see it and I thought it was a really great movie. I also liked the storyline. I guess if you are adopted it could make you feel a little sad to see the movie. But overall I thought it was a really good movie. | ||
