| Directed by: Mike Mitchell MPAA Rating: Rated PG for action violence and some mild language. Runtime: 1 hr 40 minutes The movie begins with a secret school bus in the clouds, "flying" towards Sky High, the high-school for boys and girls with extraordinary powers. At Sky High, almost everything is different from the ordinary schools we all attended. The student body engage in activities such as throwing flames with their footballs. Instead of being divided into the "nerds" and the "cool" people, the students here are divided into Heroes, those with the big powers, and Sidekicks, those with little or no powers. One of these students who belong to the Sidekicks group is Will StrongHold, son of the world's most legendary super heroes, The Commander and Jetstream. His name sounds quite ironic because someone who starts with no powers at all and struggles to endure the many problems, such as a strict gym coach, cannot be said to be "Strong." Will's main job is trying to survive the school year by learning how to do the things the Heroes do. His abilities are later seen when an evil villain threatens to destroy his family. Will must use his newfound powers to save the day, and prove to everyone that he can be a Hero. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's what I got to say: The movie was absolutely amazing! It had all the things that good movies should have, including comedy and action. I found it very exciting to watch the students use their many superpowers because many times, they would mess up and something hilarious would happen. Towards the middle, Sky High gets very suspensful, as Will must combat the evil villain. There wasnt any part that I did not like; it was overall a fabolous movie! If you have not seen Sky High, I highly recommend you to watch it. ![]() Last edited by lobo_07 : 09-25-05 at 14:45. | ||
