Very much looking forward to seeing Steve Carrell as Noah in this movie. I'm really intrigued by the moviemakers' choice to use the "Almighty" again like they did in "Bruce Almighty". Aside from that the previews look hysterical and Steve Carrell has to be one of my favorites. The scene in Bruce Almighty when he's speaking gibberish on air as the TV anchor is one of my all time favorite scenes in a comedy. | ||

| I don't know if I'll go to the theatre to see it, but I'd certainly give it a whirl when it comes out on DVD. That scene in Bruce Almighty almost had us peeing our pants "...and my tiny little nipples went to France." | ||

| It would seem to be a sequel considering the title is pretty much the same. And if Morgan Freeman comes back as God, well then it is a sequel. By the way, I loved Bruce Almighty. I'm not a real big Jim Carrey fan, but this one worked. | ||

| I guess the release date is June 22nd. It's an interesting concept to have sequel that doesn't have the same characters necessarily let alone the same actors. I like Steve Carrell quite a bit and I think he's very funny. His scene in Anchorman..."I love lamp. I love rug" just floors me laughing every time i see it. | ||

| Saw the trailer for this at "Pirates" and it looks like it has potential. God doesn't give Evan the same powers as he did Bruce, but basically asks him to build an Ark and turns him into a modern-day Noah. The only problem with that is that in all the flood mythology stories, including the Bible, the Creator promised never to do it again and set his bow in the sky after the rain as a symbol of that promise (hence the rainbow). So having God go back on that promise is kind of dumb, IMO. But it'll probably make for a fun movie. | ||
