Has anyone seen this? We ran across it yesterday at the grocery store (they rent movies there) and I hadn't realized it had even come out at all and here it is on DVD already. I'm curious to see it: Ed Gein was uber-creepy and the general basis for "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" although he wasn't in Texas, didn't use a chainsaw and was more of a serial killer than otherwise; and he was the basis for the character Jamie Gumm in "Silence of the Lambs" and Gumm was much more like Ed Gein than the other character.

I think I might rent this over the weekend and come tell y'all about it.

The new remake is out? I didn't know that. I haven't seen it yet. I did think the orginal movie was creepy to say the least though.

It would be hard to do a movie about Ed Gein without its being creepy. Ed was creepy through and through, and how he did what he did for as long as he did it boggles the mind.
