Cool The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake (theater version)

When I first heard the idea that they would be making another "Chainsaw" movie, I was pretty excited. Finally, I would get to see Leatherface on the big screen. At first, rumours were that the film was to be a sequel. Then, there were rumours about a remake, which was soon turned into fact. I really didn't think too much about it. I thought it would be pretty cool to see Leather slash up the big screen with his Saw.

Well, then I started becoming a pretty active member on HORROR related Message Boards. Everyone seemed to HATE the idea, and didn't want it to happen. Which the more I thought about it, I didn't either. How could they do this to such a classic!??!?! I was very very disappointed. I mean, remakes have a bad history the way it is.

Well, all I could do was live with it though. I hated the idea, but knew I was going to see the film on opening day. Eventually that day came. I just knew the film was going to be a major let-down. I went on in anyway though. Sit down, got comfortable, and waited. Shortly after, the film began. I was immediately glued to the screen.

It didn't take long for the action to begin. Right from the get-go it was non-stop action. The first death scene took me by surprise. I couldn't believe what I had just saw. It was so.... Real! The person I was with almost got sick. We of course watched on. The action didn't stop either! It was pure entertainment and HORROR right from the beginning.

The sound of Leather's saw, and the smoke pouring out of it really made for a GREAT time at the theaters. It was almost as if you were in the movie. The dark and macabre feel you got was also unreal. It was definately a night I won't forget. One of the BEST experiances I have had at the Theaters.

I would reccomend this movie to absolutely anyone! If you don't like this movie, you simply do not know HORROR. Just about EVERYONE I know really LOVED this movie. Some refuse to like it because its a remake. Dumb, I know. I would say you will really love this movie. Whether you have seen (and love) the original or not.

Sure, there were VERY few things I didn't like about the movie and they simply messed up on. But what movie don't? I think this is simply the best movie of the year. Without a DOUBT the best HORROR movie of the year. Pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

This movie gets a 10 out of 10.
