A road trip vacation turns into a complete nightmare! Three friends, Ben, played by Nathan Phillips, Lizzie, played by Cassandra Magrath, and Kristy, played by Kestie Morassi, set out on the road for an adventure at Wolf Creek. They plan on spending the week hiking and surfing. A bond forms between Ben and Lizzie, when they discover how one another feel. After a hiking adventure, they discover their car’s battery has died, leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere. A seemingly nice Australian, Mick, played by John Jarratt, comes to their rescue offering them a toe back to his place down the road where he can fix their car, free of charge. Grateful, but nervous, the three decide it is their best option, and set out with the strange hunter. Falling asleep next to the campfire, while Mick fixes their car, probably was not the best idea. The next morning the three find themselves bound, gagged, drugged, and separated from one another, realizing Mick may not be the good guy he appeared to be!

I found this one predictable in many places and generally too much gore and not enough story. There are some horror films I'll watch more than once. This isn't one of them.
