Did anyone here see Music and Lyrics? I really enjoyed it! I love Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant. I think they are just made for romantic comedies. I thought the movie was sweet, funny and just all-around fun. Plus, being a child of the 80s myself, I could appreciate all of the 80s music and references. Did anyone else see it and like it? | ||

| I haven't seen it yet and am on the fence as to whether I want to. I really like Drew Barrymore. That said, lately I think Drew Barrymore is playing her characters lately more and more like Drew Barrymore playing a character rather then being that character. So, I'm not sure whether I can stomach that in this film. ![]() | ||

| Ahhh... I see your point. However, you might really like this one. I truly saw her as this character, and not as much as "Drew playing the character". I think her character had a terrific personality. She is a bit quirky, but really likeable. I do think that Drew could get into trouble if she continues to play these romantic comedy roles too close together. Her characters will start running together! | ||

| Once again, we appreciate the same movie. I think Hugh Grant has become really typecast though, as a bit of bumbling womanizer who can eventually be converted by the right girl. He seems to play this role in almost every movie I've seen him in. Still, there were actually sensitive bits to the script, like the analogy of music to love. It was also delightfully funny, especially Grant's dancing! | ||

| I haven't seen this one yet. Probably will have to wait and rent it. Husband is not into these movies. I would have to agree with you though about the roles that Hugh Grant always seems to do. Does anyone know if they are selling a soundtrack DVD from this movie? | ||

| I haven't seen it but certainly will as it sounds like a good romantic comedy. I do like Hugh Grant, but since he got a rich girlfriend he seems to phone in his performances ...he's still good but not working all that hard either. | ||

| This is a movie that qualifies as a "Chick Flick". So I didn't see it, But I can say that Drew is very sweet. A friend of mine was at the cast party for "Fever Pitch" a few years ago and he called to tell me where he was, it was also her birthday so he put her on the phone and I wished her a happy birthday. She was very nice. | ||
