I did feel the ending was a bit of a let down at the time... but upon reflection I think it was a perfect way to end it. What else COULD of happened? The expected ending would have been that she some how regained her memory and lived happily ever after... but I think what happens is much more better and indeed makes for a happier ending in my opinion, which is what all of these films need of course.

Aside from the ending I thought Barrymore was fairly fantastic, but I really do not like any Adam Sandler movies. Although that said, I can only be pleased that they did not choose Ben Stiller for the role, I would not of been surprised if they had.

I originally watched it in the theaters with friends, so I suppose that made it more enjoyable. A fairly funny movie, but unfortunately nothing that really stands out in my head many months later.

i saw the movie on the way over to america, and only watched it cause i had watched every other movie on the plane. It really annoyed me, i felt sorry for adam sandler, but i guess that is what the movie was about.

Firstly they are called Cinemas and secondly at least spell theatres correctly.

And thirdly, if you're correcting spelling and the like, it helps if you check your own before you post... It just sets off the irony detectors, that's all...

On topic, the trailer didn't really strike me as anything special as far as Sandler's movies go, so I gave it a miss. The Waterboy's still my favourite of his films I'd say...

Well if you ever get a chance I would recommend checking it out, I mean sure it's Sandler, but the story is a one which is unique, and it's not your typical chick flick comedy type movie.

Dunno, a gimmick doesn't make a film unique to me really...

The spelling was checked and I've had one too many whiskies to care about grammar.

I liked The Water Boy and Happy Gilmore.
