 | It was originally on C4, the genre of wigger/chav satire was revolutionised. The film was a sell out, the jokes were all low level. The two part show he did where Borrat went to America made me laugh for days.

| Yeah, the film is crap compared to his work of the 11 O'Clock News, it was progressively dumbed down from that point onwards... Having said that, if you're after a film where you don't want to think for 90 mins, go for it, but I'd recommend anything Kevin Smith has done over it (Yes, even Jersey Girl...)

| And you're saying Ali G wasn't? The jokes were 90% just utterly derivative or lifted from previous Ali G shows... Doesn't mean I didn't see it and laugh first time I saw it, just mean it was a piece of crap... And I admire Smith for daring to make that film, because it was what he wanted to make, even if he was possibly losing a lot of fanbase in the process... Doesn't mean it wasn't fairly poor itself though...

 | That is true... Ali G in Da House was pretty bad. I also admire Smith for making the movie, but it was still bad... as was Ali G but I laughed far more in Ali G then I did in Jersey Girl.

| Yeah, 'tis quite good, though it was spoiled for me in the cinema by my mate getting way too excited over "Straight Outta Compton" right at the start... Damn wiggas...
