| That's a toughie! My husband and I didn't go to see movies, as a general rule, while we were dating because we were in college and couldn't afford them. I think we did see one of the Star Wars movies, it did have some of the action and some of romance, so it was a good choice. | ||

| Hands-down.. comedies are best for date movies (when you are first dating someone). Comedies leave you feeling great, and get both of you laughing. Dramas can be too intense and girlie-flicks can make things awkward (especially if there is an intense love scene). I remember going to see American Pie with a date. We were both rolling on the floor, laughing. I ended up marrying him. | ||
