This movie just is crap, even if u like the comics.
Come on, the villians work at cosmetic company!!
The storyline is bad,acting is BAD,special effects are ---thats right---bad.

The story(quoted from a website)
Catwoman is the story of shy, sensitive artist Patience Philips (Halle Berry), a woman who can't seem to stop apologizing for her own existence. She works as a graphic designer for Hedare Beauty, a mammoth cosmetics company on the verge of releasing a revolutionary anti-aging product. When Patience inadvertently happens upon a dark secret her employer is hiding, she finds herself in the middle of a corporate conspiracy. In a mystical twist of fate, she is transformed into a woman with the strength, speed, agility and ultra-keen senses of a cat. With her newfound prowess and feline intuition, Patience becomes Catwoman, a sleek and stealthy creature balancing on the thin line between good and bad. Her adventures are complicated by a burgeoning relationship with Tom Lone (Benjamin Bratt), a cop who has fallen for Patience but cannot shake his fascination with the mysterious Catwoman, who appears to be responsible for a string of crime sprees plaguing the city.

So basically: Not a very intriguing story

The plot is idiotic, the special effects are lame and obvious, Halle's Catwoman costume at the beginning is fairly decent but then she strips down into a moronic stripper outfit for the rest of the movie, Benjamin Bratt can't act to save his life, and Sharon Stone looks haggard. Somebody find Halle another "Monster's Ball," stat!

This has to be one of the worst movies ever made! The special effects are so bad, they're actually amusing. The only positive thing about this movie was, seeing Halle Berry in her costume! I thought the acting all around was terrible! Thank God I caught it on cable, and didn't waste any money renting it! One last thought, wasn't the original Catwoman white? The next thing you know, a black person will be playing Superman.
Don't get me wrong i'm no racist at all but do you imagine?

Look I'll agree that Hale looks great as the cat woman but what one fails to realize is that this movie has no relevancy to the comics. What they have done is twisted the Cat Woman myth to make her some type of Egyptian Cat powered herion. Think Wonder woman but Egyptian instead of Greek.
Also the story line is thread bare with the clash between the two being predictable and booring.

Unfortunatly Hale has signed on for Cat Woman 2. I guess this series will have nine lives like the cat it refrences.

I'm trying to think of one good thing about this movie......................... oh yeah THE END!!!

HB is hot, granted but the movie goes beyond stupid, I think CatYawn would have been a better name for this movie.

My curiosity truely killed the cat

This movie needs a better script and a better performance from the lead actress. This is definitely not the memorable 'Catwoman', played by Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns.
