Donnie darko..my all time favourite movie.

I wouldn't bother my money having it all gift-wrapped though. As long as I get to see it on my original I'm more than happy.

@shane - Don't worry about being confused. That was the directors intention, he likes to scramble with our brains.

Well I will definatly have to pass on the directors cut then. Donnie Darko is an awesome piece of work. Im a huge fan of the movies that make you immediatly rewatch them after they are over. Allthough i will say ima big fan of happy endings, and i thought the part where she rode her bike by at the end and says she didnt know him is extremly saddening.

I really love the original movie, I've seen it many times. I have read about all of the changes they made to the movie, so while I'm thinking I might not pay full price for this, I am still interested nevertheless.

I was about to start a new thread, but lucky me, I did a search and look what I found.
Well, I've just bought this movie.
I heard many good things about it, and I've seen a lot of people say that it really makes you follow the movie, and not just sit back for the ride...
I got the first Donnie Darko, instead of the Director's Cut due to money, and reviews on it.

Anyways, wow. I watched it and was kinda lost at the end, so I'll be watching it again today, really good, and enjoyable.

I really like the original.
I don't think I would bother getting it if I already have the original.

I was considering buying this film on DVD but I haven't watched it yet. I usually only buy DVDs that I've previously watched.

The original DVD of Donnie Darko is being sold in my local blockbuster store for £6. Hitman you seem to be an expert on this film. Is it worth buying or not?

I keep on hearing that its good and how everyone needs to see it and the good reviews its got etc, etc.
