The Grudge

Saw the US remake of The Grudge last night and I'm glad to say that they've done a good job. Same director, same actors for the woman and child and same house. They've added a couple of extra things in to simplify it for a western (read US) audience, but the scares are just as strong.

Recommended.

I thought it was a big disappointment. Haven't seen a decent horror film for ages now..ideas are running dry..

I watched the movie last week, didn't really like it that much
As for style, it looks a lot like The Ring but isn't as scary.
Sarah Michelle Gellar was the only reason I kept watching

The story is weird, there are a few scary moments which the music introduces and the storyline is quite complicated.
If you like weird, scary movies, it's worth watching it but don't expect to much of it.

I almost rented it last night but decided against it. Heard too many bad things about it. Will probably watch it when it comes round to being on TV

Very dissappointed.
If anything this movie was a comedy.
The little asian boy cracked me up.

What he said. The asian kid was out there.

Didn't like the movie at all though, very, very repetetive. Got boring because you knew what was going to happen around every corner.
