Yikes! This was one of the worst movies I have seen in a really long time. In fact it was so badly written and acted that we walked out about 40 minutes into the movie which we never do! I think it was a lot of gratuitous Halle Berry shots.

You are kidding! You actually walked out? I don't know if I have ever walked out of a movie before. I am very disappointed about this since I really do love Halle Berry. She hasn't had much of a hit since Monster's Ball. She is due a good one!
What was the worst part? Was it a badly written movie in general? I hate that you wasted your money!

I haven't seen it because even the teasers on t.v. didn't look all that interesting. Halle Berry can be great but she's done plenty of stinkers too.
Hit or miss ...and you're right, since Monster's Ball, it's been downhill. Maybe she needs to get a hair cut lol.

Luckily we went to see it in a second run theater so it wasn't nearly as much money as if we'd gone to the regular theater. We probably would have stayed through it if we'd paid full price! I think it was just poorly executed in a lot of ways. They story was very slow and the acting was extremely melodramatic.

Wow, it must have been bad to walk out. I was hoping that this would have been a good movie. I really like the movies Halle Berry has been in before.

Perfect

I just read an interview about Halle Berry in Marie Claire. The freelancer and she had decided to shake things up...her interviewing him instead of the other way around, with the freelancer putting his take on things in sidebars. It was interesting to read and pretty revealing into Berry's personality. She came across, to me, as pissed off about having to do interviews to promote movies, kind of mean...she kept making fun of the freelancer b/c he was fat and how she would twist things to take on entirely new meanings. I mean I'm sure it was payback for all the times other interviewers had done the exact same things to her, but I thought it was immature.

Even so, the woman is too damn beautiful not to forgive her for her attitude.
