Twister

Was just having a glance through the top 100 film grosses on boxofficemojo.com, and spotted this at #36 on the all time worldwide numerical gross...

Now is it just my memory of it a bit jaded, or was it a piece of crap like I remember it?

I quite enjoyed it. Although to be honest I am never sure which movie I'm thinking of... because I recall there being a couple of similar movies out at around the same time.

Woohoo!! Twister was awesome. This is gonna be my closest encounter with the whirling winds.. Besides, Helen Hunt is my favourite actress.. (noticed my avatar?)

I thought it was quite poor, I saw it at the cinema ages ago, didn't really interest me. By no means was it total junk though.

I must say that their effects on twisters, houses blown away, flying cows is so real.. it made me feel as if I was there.. that's how good I think the movie was... not to mention the superb acting by the casts...

It's exciting, but very inaccurate in certain instances. Like the eye of a tornado ... you can't hear anything when you're inside one. Chances of surviving is reduced heavily as well. They made some huge deal out of nothing. Nevertheless, it's a good free watch.

Pretty good movie, been a while since I watched it. Even though I have probably seen it about 7 - 10 times, I can only seem to remember one line.

Jo(Helen Hunt) - Cow. another cow.
Bill(Bill Paxton) - Actually I think that was the same one.
