The recent one, the Wild introduced singing, dancing back into their animations in 3D style.
The only problem with The Wild is that if you have seen Madagascar, The Wild is basically almost a rip off which kills any form of thrill....

Chicken Little

See, now I thought CL was fun. It was an outrageous mismash of different ideas. And being an 80's lady, I loved the music. Fish, of course was my favorite character.

My 2 little ones (3 and 7) really liked Chicken Little. It is silly and has a cute story line. Yeah, it did have a good sound track too.

I agree that the two movies were too much alike. The two have even blended in my head and I have difficulty separating their plots and characters. Even the basic theme of wanting to return to wild roots was the same.

I haven't seen "The Wild" because the trailers showed it was too similar to Madagascar. Disney would do better to come up with original plots as much as possible and avoid the appearance of copying the competition.

I haven't seen "The Wild" or "Madagascar," but the kids are begging to see the latter. I just don't care a whole lot for the Disney cartoons much anymore. They're all very similar, not at all different like the older ones. They were distinct movies, and very good.

I have to agree with you there. I just *LOVE* the classic Disney movies (even though they ALWAYS make me cry) There is nothing more touching than watching Dumbo's Mom rock him in her trunk when she is chained up.

Those movies seemed *real*. They dealt with tough issues, and showed such emotion.
