| John was a newbie back in those days and had to team up with Barry, 10 years older and who didn't seem to enjoy the young guy's presence,he had lost his team mate and best friend joe 'the sniper' who he had known since Uni and who had joined the brigade at the same time as him 15 years before, only 2 weeks earlier in a shout down opposing 2 gangs downtown when this last one had pushed Barry asside to avoid him to be hit, and was killed on the spot. He now didn't want to start all over again with this new guy john who looked like he had just left mummy and daddy... | ||

| ~~I love these types of games, I've done a lot of 'em in writing classes. Makes a writer more aware of the different ways a story can go.~~ Now back to the show... which in fact he had, having returned from a leave. While home he'd discovered his mother was suffering from dimentia and his father was becoming so arthritic that he was afraid they were going to have to put him down like they had old Striker, two years ago.
