Whatever happened to...

...the Kevin Bacon game? Does anyone else remember this, where you take anyone and see how many steps removed they are from Kevin Bacon? Like, Kyra Sedgwick is 1 because she's married to him so John Travolta would be 2 because he was in the movie Phenomenon with Kyra Sedgwick,etc..

I think the game got very popular and then fell off the face of the earth out of disinterest lol. We could play. I live not far from Bacon and his wife in the country. I saw her at the market yesterday lol.

I remember this game. I thought it was pretty neat how everything always seemed to work back to him. You're right though I think people have just lost interest in it.

Is the 6 degrees of separation thing? I never was any good at that.

I guess, if you're thinking about it, I'm about 6 people from the President, but I'm sure I'll never meet him personally. But I know people, who know people, etc. that know him. LOL

Yes, it's the 6 degrees game. I'm actually only 2 away from Kevin Bacon which is weird, but like MamaB and the president I'll never actually meet him!

I got shoved up against the wall by former President Ford's body guard while I was in college, does that count for anything? LOL

LOL ...probably puts you in the game! It is a funny thing to think about. Kevin Bacon lived down the road from my old house and he would drive by ...never met him but I met his wife at the grocery store a couple of times. That count?

Well, I've never seen the "official" rules to the game, but I would think it would count for SOMETHING. I mean, you met her, so you can count her as an acquaintance, right?

LOL ...right. I can call them 'neighbors'. But there's also Michael J Fox, Dennis Leary and a couple of others. I've had sightings but not much more.
Oh well, a woman I used to see at the local pub has become Fox's housekeeper ..maybe that counts

Wow, 'neighbors'. Where's your neighborhood, maybe you could invite me over and we'll have beer and a b-b-q with the 'folks next door'.
You think they'd mind if I brought along my camera to take pics?
